What are AI credits? They cover the work Corvenia does when you ask for something. How far a month’s credits go depends on the length of a conversation, how much group data the question touches and how much work the answer takes. The group close is never metered, and looking at what already exists is always free.
‍See what uses credits
Cover the whole group. Many groups have a property or investment leg — SPVs holding one asset each, posting almost nothing. Those companies, with no subsidiaries of their own and under 1 000 transactions a month on average, are SEK 290 each. The quiet part of the structure costs very little to bring in.
Unlimited users on every plan. Connect as few or as many companies as you like — you pay per company. The limits that matter are in the comparison below; the full terms are in your agreement.

*Rows marked AI use AI credits. The group close itself is never metered. What uses credits, and what does not, is set out below the table.

How AI usage works

AI credits cover the work Corvenia does when you ask for something. How far a month's credits go depends on what you ask for: the length of a conversation, how much group data the question touches, the size of what you attach, and how much work the answer takes. A quick question uses little; a long analysis across the whole group uses more.

Every user you add — Corvenia does not charge per seat
Every company adds to the group's credits each month and the whole group shares one pool, so a busy month in one company draws on the same pool as a quiet month in another. Unused credits roll over for up to three months, and the month's own credits are always used first. If you run out, nothing stops working and the group close is never blocked.
Add-ons
Extra AI credits — a quarter more usage for a month
Extra usage costs the same share of your bill as it adds to your allowance, so it is priced the same whichever plan you are on and however many companies you have. Buy it for a single month, or switch it on automatically with a ceiling you set. Moving up a plan buys far more usage for far less — if you are adding credits most months, ask us and we will look at it with you.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is any part of the group close held back for a higher plan?
chevron right
No. Currency translation, ownership percentages, minority interests, the equity method, sub-groups, multi-level structures, consolidation journals, purchase price allocation and acquisition accounting, conversion from local GAAP to IFRS at group level, validation checks, budget against actuals, the report builder, drill-down to the voucher, and the agents that map accounts and match intercompany items are all in Basic. The plans above it are about what you do with the numbers afterwards: getting them into Excel, Power BI and your own tools, building and sharing your own apps, and asking more questions.
What happens if we use up our AI credits?
chevron right
Nothing stops working, and your close is never blocked. Unused credits roll over for up to three months, which usually covers a busy month-end. If you still run out, nothing is charged unless you have asked for it. You can switch on automatic extra credits — a quarter more usage for a month, at 25% of your monthly price — and set your own ceiling in kroner or euro, or leave them off, in which case the AI features simply pause until the next month while everything else keeps working.
What is MCP for, and what are the limits?
chevron right
MCP lets your own AI tools ask Corvenia questions — what changed in one company this month, why a figure moved, how two companies compare. It is built for questions like those, one at a time. MCP and the REST API are part of Enterprise, and their limits — the monthly call allowance, the rate limit and the largest response to a single call — are set in your agreement rather than published, because they are sized to your group. Two things hold whatever is agreed: asking the AI to do real work over MCP uses AI credits, exactly as the same question does inside Corvenia, while reading data does not. And the terms do not allow using MCP to crawl, index or mirror your unified ledger on a schedule — for a full extract, use the export or the API.
Which accounting systems do you support?
chevron right
Tripletex, PowerOffice GO, Xledger, Visma.net, Fortnox, e-conomic, RamBase and QuickBooks connect directly, plus SAF-T for Norwegian entities whose licence does not allow an API. Between them those cover the large majority of Nordic ledgers, and there is no limit on how many companies you connect. Where a company runs on something else, its ledger data is imported from Excel and consolidates in exactly the same way. That is the fallback, not the normal route. Drill-down to the voucher is available on a live connection; for a company loaded from SAF-T or Excel it goes to the imported line. Connecting a ledger and converting its local GAAP are two different things — see the standards question below. If one of your companies runs on a system with an open API, tell us and it usually becomes a supported connector within a couple of weeks.
What happens when the group changes?
chevron right
Connect a new company and it appears on the next invoice, pro rata, at the published price — so the cost of an acquisition is known before it closes. Sell one and it comes off from the next billing period, with its history kept for as long as your subscription runs so last year's group figures still reconcile. On monthly billing the charge stops at the next period; on annual billing the reduction is credited at renewal. Acquisitions and disposals during the year are handled in every plan.
Do you produce the notes and the ESEF filing?
chevron right
No. Corvenia produces the consolidated statements — profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow by the direct or indirect method, and the statement of changes in equity — and traces every figure back to the voucher behind it. The notes, and any ESEF or iXBRL tagging, stay with you, your auditor or the reporting tool you already use. Corvenia exports to Excel and PDF, and the API and Excel add-in feed that tool the figures directly. Qben Infra, listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, works exactly this way: Corvenia produces the group numbers and their own reporting tool compiles the filing. Tagging is not on our roadmap today — if your group needs it, tell us.
How are we invoiced?
chevron right
One subscription for the group, in the currency of the parent company's country. Norwegian and Swedish groups are invoiced in NOK and SEK at the same figures; groups whose parent sits in the euro area are invoiced in EUR. Basic and Standard are paid by card. On Enterprise you can pay by invoice, including EHF in Norway and e-faktura in Sweden.
Do you replace our auditor?
chevron right
No. Corvenia shows the figures and lets you trace each one to the transaction behind it. Auditing the accounts remains the statutory auditor's responsibility.
How is AI usage measured?
chevron right
In AI credits. A credit covers the work Corvenia does when you ask for something, and how much a given piece of work uses depends on what it involves: how long the conversation runs, how much of the group’s data the question touches, how large the files you attach are, and how much work the answer takes. A quick question about one company uses very little; a long analysis across thirty companies uses more. We publish what uses credits and what does not rather than a price per action, because a fixed price per action would either overcharge the short questions or undercharge the long ones. Looking never costs anything: opening an app, reading a view, scrolling a report or exporting to Excel are all free, and so are the agents that map your accounts and match intercompany items — the group close is never metered. Every company adds to the group’s credits each month and they all go into one pool the whole group shares. Unused credits roll over for up to three months.
What about SPVs and passive companies?
chevron right
A company counts as an SPV or passive company when two things are true: it has no subsidiaries of its own, and it posts fewer than 1 000 transactions a month on average. The average is taken over the last twelve months, or over the history you have if it is shorter, so a single busy month does not move a company. A property SPV or a dormant company, typically. Both tests read straight from your own data in Corvenia. They consolidate in full: eliminations, currency translation, ownership and minority interests, every statement, and drill-down to the voucher where the company is connected. They are part of what you can ask Corvenia about, so nothing is missing from an answer about the group. What they do not do is add to your AI usage allowance. They do count toward the monthly minimum. The status is checked every billing period and moves both ways on its own: a company that takes on a subsidiary or grows past the transaction average moves to the full rate from the next period, exactly as a newly connected company does, and a company that goes quiet moves the other way without you asking.
Can we pull our group data out through the API and MCP?
chevron right
Yes — that is what they are for. Your figures belong to you. The REST API and MCP are part of Enterprise, so your own tools and your own AI agents can work on the group numbers directly; the call allowance and the rate limit are agreed with you, so that one integration cannot slow the platform for everyone. On Basic and Standard you get the figures out through Excel and PDF export, and on Standard through the Excel add-in and Power BI as well. What the terms do not permit is using the API to build or run a service that competes with Corvenia. If the usage looks like something else, we will call you before we do anything.
Is there an implementation fee?
chevron right
Basic and Standard have no implementation fee. Enterprise implementation fees are agreed individually.
How many transactions are included?
chevron right
Each plan includes a transaction volume per company per year, shown in the table. Most companies sit comfortably inside it. If one of yours does not, we agree a volume band for that company — you are never billed for an overage you did not agree in advance.
Which accounting standards do you support, and what about IFRS?
chevron right
Purchase price allocation and acquisition accounting are in every plan. Conversion from local GAAP to IFRS at group level is supported — partly automated, with the judgement left to you — for Norwegian and Swedish standards today. Adding a further national standard, or a further accounting system with an open API, is normally a couple of weeks of work for us rather than a project. When a new customer brings a subsidiary on a system or a standard we have not met, we build it as part of onboarding rather than quoting for it — and we agree the scope and the date with you in writing before you sign. Tell us what your group runs on and we will tell you what is already there and what we would add.
How is our data handled, and are you certified?
chevron right
Corvenia connects to your accounting system with read-only access and does not write to your ledger — no entries posted, no vouchers changed, no chart of accounts altered. Data is stored in the EU/EEA and encrypted in transit and at rest, a data processing agreement is in place from day one, our sub-processors are published, and your data is deleted on request. We are not SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certified. We are building towards both, and we will name a date only when we can hold it — until then you get our security documentation, a completed security questionnaire, and a commitment to tell you the moment an audit is scheduled.
When does billing start, and can we stop?
chevron right
Before your first invoice you receive the exact amount, currency and number of companies you will be charged for — nothing is billed until you have seen that. Annual billing carries the lower price; monthly billing is 15% above it, and you can switch between them at any time. You can cancel free of charge within 14 days of signing. If you cancel later, your data is available for export for 60 days and is then deleted.
